Away Field Directions

BOWEN FIELD (New Haven) – From North of New Haven: 1-91 South to Exit 3 (Trumbull Street), straight through light at the end of the exit to the 4th light and take a left onto Prospect Street. At the first light, take a right onto Grove Street. Follow Grove and merge into Whalley Avenue. At the 5th light on Whalley, take a right onto Winthrop Street. Take Winthrop to its end and merge into Crescent Street. At the first light, take a right onto Fournier Street (Animal Shelter sign on corner). Take an immediate right into the park, follow road to the rear of the football bleachers, parking across from them.

BRADLEY SCHOOL (Derby) - Route 34 to intersection with Route 121 (Grassy Hill Road). Head North on Grassy Hill to the first right after the second stop sign (.5 miles). Take the right onto David Humphreys Road and travel .5 miles to the first stop sign; the school is on the left and the baseball field is in the right-rear of the school.

BRINLEY FIELD (Old Tavern Road Recreational Area- Orange) – Route 95 from Bridgeport area: Take Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Road). At top of exit, take a left. Proceed straight to 4th light (Boston Post Road). Continue straight onto Lambert Road to first stop sign. Take a left onto Old Tavern Road; facility is on the left in 50 yards.

DEGENNARO FIELD (ORANGE) - USE SAME DIRECTIONS AS BRINLEY FIELD.

DELAND FIELD (Watertown) – Route 8 North to Exit 37 to Route 262 West. Left onto Buckingham Street, take a right at the light onto Echo Lake Road. Field is 1+ miles on the right.

GREAT OAK SCHOOL (Oxford) – From Route 67: Turn left onto Governors Hill Road. Turn right onto Great Oak Road ( there will be a large “School” sigh on the corner). Great Oak School will be on the left. Park in front of the school; the field is a walk around the right rear of the school.

MILFORD ACADEMY (Milford) - I-95 to Exit 39A(Route 1 South). At end of exit, take Route 1 to fork in road with Cherry Street (1st traffic light). Bear left onto Cherry Street (towards Bobs Stores). Follow Cherry Street to 4th traffic light (Gulf Street). Take left onto Gulf Street and follow to 1st traffic light (New Haven Avenue). Continue straight on Gulf Street to 1st left (100 yards or less). Take left onto one-block long street and take right at end, following road as it turns to left. Baseball field is on right, behind swimming pool building.

MUNSON FIELD (Bethany) – Take Route 63 from Westville, north into Bethany. Take a right on Munson Road .5 miles after State Police Barracks on left. Field is immediately on the right. Umpires park at factory on the left.

NATURE CENTER (Ansonia) - Route 8 South, Take Exit 17 (Seymour Ave), Take the left fork of the exit Go straight through the light onto Atwater Ave, At next traffic light turn

Mitchell Park (Bethel) - Follow CT-67 and merge onto I-84 W via the ramp on the LEFT toward DANBURY. Take the CT-25 exit, EXIT 9, toward BROOKFIELD.  Turn LEFT onto HAWLEYVILLE RD/CT-25.  Turn RIGHT onto MT PLEASANT RD/US-6. Continue to follow US-6.  Turn LEFT onto OLD HAWLEYVILLE RD.  164 OLD HAWLEYVILLE RD # 168 is on the RIGHT.    

Monroe - Beardsley Field 1
From Route 84: Follow Route 25 South to Route 111. Take Left onto Route 111 North. Go 7 traffic lights and take a right on Cross Hill Rd. Go past the stop sign and the fields are on the right just past the stop sign.

At Beardsley Field there are two fields with parking. Due to the large anticipated crowds, the parking lot will be filled up. Within walking distance, there is additional parking allowed on Craig Drive just north from the field off Cross Hill. There is no parking allowed on Cross Hill. Monroe Police will ticket all vehicles and tow them. WE STRONGLY ADVISE TEAM TO CAR POOL AND “DOUBLE PARK” TO PROVIDE MORE ROOM IN THE PARKING LOT.
